Changelog: Major Updates Since December 2024

We have shipped a steady stream of improvements over the past few months. Here are the highlights grouped by theme so you can quickly scan what matters most to your table or community.

Gameplay mechanics and polish

  • Joker card variant: Added a full Joker trick diagram component and integrated the Joker into the rules engine so you can toggle the wild-card format during sessions. Read the Joker variant overview →
  • Double Points: Clarified how Double Points are presented in the UI, including scoreboard badges and improved recap messaging to highlight the -15 miss penalty. Review strategy tips in the Double Points and Special Powers guide.
  • Blind mode refinements: Blind Prediction and Blind Tricks modes now reset cleanly between games and respect timing for the next prediction cycle, helping hosts avoid manual resets mid-match.
  • Sound design updates: Expanded the in-game soundscape with new effects for countdowns, bonuses, card movement, and player turns to make each round feel livelier.

Content and learning resources

  • New strategy content: Published deep dives on advanced Judgement tactics, common mistakes, practice with bots, and more to support continuous learning.
  • Visual refresh: Updated blog cover art, metadata, and layout to present posts more cohesively across the blog index and social shares.
  • How-to documentation: Added new guides covering hosting checklists, scoring explanations, and blind mode drills—perfect for onboarding new players.
