Why Double Points matters
Double Points is the quickest way to launch up the leaderboard. Tap the card in the action tray between rounds to prime your next bid. The lock only starts once you submit another prediction, so you can decide whether to trigger it in the lobby or right after a recap screen.
Lock mechanics at a glance

Timing tips
- Activate after checking the recap banner so you know whether you can stomach the -15 risk.
- If you already locked a prediction this round, wait until the recap to toggle Double Points; the lock never retroactively edits bids.
- Remember that the special power flag is assigned at the end of round 7. Plan ahead so your lock is still running when round 6 arrives.
UI cues
- Toggle: The Double Points card sits in the between-round action tray; once active it displays a pulsing border.
- Badge: A "Double Points Active" chip appears beside your name and in the recap ribbon.
- Lock toast: Immediately after you bid you will see "Prediction locked for 3 rounds" as confirmation.
- Penalty banner: Missing shows "-15 (Double Points miss)" on the recap card.
